How do I measure Influence?

There are multiple ways of looking at your Influence on Facebook starting with the Simplify360 INFLUENCE SCORE. This score is calculated based on the number of LIKEs, COMMENTSs and more importantly your FANS. The score is updated at least once in a week to reflect your Twitter Activities. It ranges from 0 to 100.

INFLUENCE SCORE more than 50 is an indication of a good influence on Facebook.

Influence is a combination of how many people you reach and how many reactions you receive. For example for celebrity, a single UPDATE can receive thousands of reactions and reach to millions.

The second way to look at your influence is to keep track of your growth in FANS BASE. If it is increasing rapidly it shows that your activities are gaining more traction on FACEBOOK.

  1. Go to INSIGHTS > Facebook Analytics
  2. Click on the Facebook Channel whose Analytics you want to see.
  3. On the LEFT-HAND menu, Click on FAN STATISTICS.

The graph FAN TREND and PAGE CONSUMPTION TREND shows you the detailed analysis of the number of new fans acquired, as well as the number of fans being lost.

The third way to look at your influence is to measure how quickly your FANs respond to your UPDATES. Generally, when an INFLUENCER (Celebrities) makes an update they receive huge responses within a second.

  1. Go to INSIGHTS > Facebook Analytics
  2. Click on the Facebook Channel whose Analytics you want to see.
  3. On the LEFT-HAND menu, Click on ENGAGEMENT AND RESPONSE.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the dashboard.

The chart on the LEFT shows the distribution of time it takes for your FANs to respond to you.
